Mid Term News..

                              

                   "A library implies an act of Wisdom and  
                                    knowledge".

Library is the place that is the centre of student's attention in the period of exams. Books are the main assets of library and if the library is not fulfilling the requirement of the students so it is useless to call it a library.

“SEMINAR LIBRARY"is the main library of mass communication department where students gathered to study.”MASS COMMUNICATION THEORY"  is the main subject and we  need proper book to study related to that subject but unfortunately in seminar library we have only "TWO BOOKS" and it is impossible to fulfill requirement of "HUNDRED STUDENTS" specially in the period of exams.

    

 The two books named: MASS COMMNICATION THEORY by mcquail and the other book is by the author named baran remained the highlighted issue during the midterm exams because many students were unable to avail these books. I think the HOD of MASS COMMNICATION should take some serious action to solve this issue.


       "The only true equalizer in the world is books,

              the only Treasure House to open

Eid Milad Un Nabi S.A.W

That was 8th feb 2011, the day was passing like other routine days i wake up in the morning and reached to university at 10:00 p.m . After meeting my friends i heard the news that midterm exams was to be started and many students started preparing the notes of different subjects . Me and my freinds also want a book through which we can get help and making the notes.
               
                      When we go for library we heard the attractng voice of a lady reciting the naat, seriously  the voice was so catchy that attracts us towards it. After listened carefully we came to know that the voice was coming from "ANWAR SULTANA AUDITORIUM".We go down stairs and decided first to attend the milad.The milad was organised by the "URDU DEPARTMENT"  and sponsered by "ARY DIGITAL".
                      
                      The lady "UMM-E-HABIBA" , who was a famous naat khuwan reciting her naat. The environment of the auditorium was so pleasant,,the whole auditorium was decorated with the petals of rose flowers , the soothung smel of itars and the attracting voice of umm-e-habiba.........Ahhhhhhhhhh what a beutiful scene. Many students of urdu department which participated in the milad were wearing green dupatas were looking so nice, The sweets and flowers sprayed with itar were distributed . After beautiful naats of umm-e-habiba , students of urdu department recited naat in corus. Those moments were seriously unforgettable, i don't have words to explain my feelings about that pleasant environment.
                       
                     The milad ends on dua and salam. This milad forced us to appreciate the effort of urdu department that how they organised and managed that whole event. 
       
                      This milad seriously took me back in my past when i was in the school ant participated in many naat competitions and gets so many awards.In my opinion these activitiesshould be happen in the university not only in the month of "RABI-UI-AWAL " but in other months as well.....................
                          
                       WHAT YOU PEOPLE THINK..........????????
